Il Gruppo greco Chandris ha ordinato ai cantieri coreani Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) due product tanker LR1 da 114.000 dwt, al prezzo di $ 51 milioni per nave. Le consegne sono previste per il 2015. Attualmente la flotta di Chandris, costituita da 23 tanker, comprende sei LR2.
